ohhhhh hello. It's been a while.....but that's a whole other story.
SO I was at Nordsrom a while back looking at some of the Deborah Lippmann polishes. I swore to myself that I wouldn't spend that much on a single bottle. But then the sales associate was like "if you buy 2 products, you get 1 bottle of polish for free". I don't know....I'm so weak :( I ended up taking this home along with a bottle of the polish remover (which I wasn't too impressed with other than the fact that it smells like lavender instead of nail polish remover). Apparently this polished is named after Cher and was created by her. I could look it up to see if it's true, but let's be honest here, I'm lazy.
It's a nice pale gold, I wouldn't necessary consider it champagne. In some angles it looks it though. I liked it for the fact that it wasn't too flashy and I don't have anything else like it.

The Old Bill
I'm just going to do a quick swatch of Butter London's The Old Bill for ya. It's a metallic gold that I think would be really pretty for darker skin tones. Not saying that it wouldn't look good on lighter skin, but there's just something about golds that look so good on darker skin. Seemed a tad on the sheerer side and I needed 2 coats for it. The first coat was a bit streaky, but then it evened out on the second. Overall, I found it ok. It's not a color that I would wear all the time and therefor isn't worth the $14 that I paid for it. I did however get it on sale during Ulta's Buy 1 get 1 free sale. Dont' get me wrong, it's a nice color. Just not one of my favorites.

University of Washington's 150th Anniversary
Today is W day, University of Washington's 150th Anniversary. In celebration for this monumental day, I decided to sport my purple and gold. Now, originally, I had painted this design without the "W". But what would be "Washington Huskies" without the "W"!? Then after I painted it....I realized I liked it more without. hehe
But I didn't take the picture until after the damage was done. :(
So for the purple, I used Wet'N'Wild's Buffy the Violet Slayer. The picture doesn't show how deep and bright this purple really is. Then for the gold, I used OPI's Bling Dynasty. It's very sheer and I definitely needed 3 coats for it. Then I just used black konad polish for the W and the paw print and topped it off with Seche Vite.
Enjoy!
